In this particular inspiration board, we used a misty rose, but you can combine as many combinations of pinks as you’d like (they blend beautifully). When picking the flowers to perfectly compliment this color due, we suggest pink and ivory or champagne roses (beautiful for a winter wedding), or substituting peonies for your beautiful spring wedding. Now in keeping with this pink and gold, tea-garden wedding feel, IntriCutz made this beautiful key-to-my-heart invitation.

Hot 2011-2012 Color Trend: Pink & Gold!
A recycled color trend is hitting the wedding plans for 2011-2012 weddings: pink and gold. They aren’t the most likely color combination, but when you see the magic that happens when using them to design, you understand. This color selection is reminiscent of the 1940’s and 50’s, where it was used because of pink’s implication of romance, and gold’s implication of the Hollywood glamour. This color combination combines sweetness and sophistication, girly and couture, drama and romance. It allows you to go the max with elegance, or even incorporate a spring-tea-garden kind of flare.
